Hi I have a crosstab query with one row heading and lots of column headings that show over several pages. Is there a way of having the row heading appear at the start of every page? Thank you

Thank you both. I have gone back to basics and am building what I need one step at a time - seems obvious but couldn't see wood for trees at first!

Returning zero when calculated field is negative

Hi I have a query which includes a calculated field as follows: Free Stock: Nz([Total Stock],0)-Nz([SumOfKg],0) In some cases this returns a negative number and I would like this changed to a zero. I have tried the following in the criteria IIf(Nz([Total...

Need pointed in right direction please

Hi I work in a small company warehousing yarns ready to be woven into fabric. I have created a simple stock database, and can enter customer orders with an estimate of all different yarns required for each fabric. (not an exact science unfortunately) So i have queries/reports of total yarn in...

Subreports to only show for certain records

So... Another step forward. I have used:- Me.Yarns_Query_subreport.Visible = Me.Yarns_Query_subreport.HasData which although still shows the labels headings in report view, when I go to print preview they are not there. This is fine as I am only one going to look at it in access, everyone...

Subreports to only show for certain records

I've been trawling the web and found lots of solutions to this, however they aren't working for me. I was wondering, is a tick box in a report - even if it is unchecked and just the actual box, classed as data? Thanks

Subreports to only show for certain records

Ahh - I just added sent to mill to the yarns query and set that criteria to null. Now I am getting closer (I hope!). The info doesn't show but the box and labels do - is there any way of not having that show if there is no information in it? Thanks

Subreports to only show for certain records

I'm afraid not. The sent to mill box is in the first subreport (Order Details Query subreport) therefore if I set criteria to null it doesn't show any of these details. I still need to see these, including date I have entered until the order has been despatched. thanks

Subreports to only show for certain records

Thanks moke123 I am hoping it is just my wording but have tried a few variations of what you suggested and still can't quite get it :-( I have uploaded my database if someone had the time to view I would be very grateful. The report I open is 'Orders Query'. On the record Order No...

Subreports to only show for certain records

Using subforms makes it difficult to present data how I want. I think I may have to give up and put everything on a big excel sheet. :-( Thanks for trying to help though

Subreports to only show for certain records

Hi Thanks for this however doesn't quite work. When I add the Report load event to main report, it doesn't recognise 'SentToMill'. This field is actually in first subreport, therefore I put your code in load event of that instead and although it didn't show up as an error, it didn't work...

Subreports to only show for certain records

Hi I have created a report to show outstanding orders which consists of a main report with customer details, a subreport showing the order details and a second subreport (within first subreport) showing further details regarding components needed for those orders (name of component, on order...

Report showing all details and summary at bottom

I have created a report for a packing list which shows:- C/no., Order No., Details, Net KG This has to show all details, ordered by carton no. After all details are listed I want a summary at the bottom of the page ordered by order no. Order No., Details, Sum of Net KG, Gross KG(this is picked...

Create Report for a Packing List

Hi Sneuberg Yes you are correct. A carton could contain more than one order, and similarly an order can span more than one box. Each line in the packing list needs to show carton no., order no, dye lot no, yarn, batch, colour and net kg. I then require a summary at the bottom sorted by order...

Create Report for a Packing List

Thank you sneuberg You are correct - I have made the dye lot no. the primary key. I then created a query and report called Packing List. This report is essentially how I want it to print except I would like the summary section at the bottom of the page and altogether rather than after each...
