Hi all:
I'm using Word2003.
I want to be able to toggle field codes ([ALT+F9]) and then work with the result as plain text.
I've tried several things:
1. Toggle to reveal the field codes then select/copy/paste special (paste as plain text)
2. Toggle to show the field codes then unlink fields ([CTRL+SHIFT+F9])
3. Find/replace keystrokes in the fields to disable the programming
to no avail.
The context in which I wish to use this is in order to reveal and work with embedded URLs in content copied from Twitter.
I tried searching the MS Help and online, couldn't find anything.
If anyone has a better way to accomplish this I welcome the information.
