report conditional formatting

I have checked everything I can think of. Canít figure out why report [rpt3Months] will not accept conditional formatting on field/control {sugar} but in the same DB accepts conditional formatting on report [rptAll]

Re: report conditional formatting

A quick look does not show anything standing out.?

However I would probably have one report and open with different criteria.?

So use rpt all and filter?
Else copy report all and amend for source.?

Re: report conditional formatting

Thought I'd found it as the forecolor in rptall is different from rpt3months, but even after copying the forecolor it does not vchange?

Re: report conditional formatting

Field Sugar is a text type, not number. For some reason Access is casting the text to number for rptAll but fails for rpt3Months. Copying rptAll and changing RecordSource does work. So, possibly rpt3Months is corrupted.

I agree, 1 report object should serve both outputs. Not showing Weight field on rptAll.
Docmd.OpenReport "rptAll", acViewPreview, , "EnterDate Between #8/21/2019# And #11/30/2019#"

Dynamically build filter criteria with VBA. User would enter date range into unbound controls on form. Review http://allenbrowne.com/ser-62.html

Might want to rename tlbMain to tblMain.

I thought of that, but this is mostly for training. I was expecting someone to find some dumb thing I had done.
