Hello,

i am trying to get some data into specific cells in an existing excel spreadsheet and have excel perform some math on it then import it back into a table any thoughts on how i can accomplish this.

2 ways - Firstly perform the calculations in Access would be easier. Second way is to export data to excel spreadsheet. Have another excel spreadsheet that has an auto open macro that opens first spreadsheet up, copies data into itself, performs maths and then saves a copy of itself to another table. This can then be reimported into access. You can control all of this from access (search ms help files on how to open excel through access)
