I hope this post doesn't upset the site admins but I wondered whether other users are experiencing this issue.

Around 2 weeks ago I stopped receiving any emails from this site related to replies to subscribed threads or private messages.

I checked all site settings and also my email account but

After a week I sent an email reporting this using the Contact Us link.
Nothing happened (no reply & still no emails)

So I tried changing my email address - bad idea!
If you do that the site sends you an activation email which you need to reply to
Until you do so, your account is deactivated
That's fine except that email didn't arrive either
I tried 3 email addresses but none solved the issue leaving me locked out.
Which meant I couldn't post or send a message to site admins!!!

Anyway, by a roundabout route, one of the admin team was contacted and my account was reactivated - thanks again

However still no emails

I think I've been seeing (or not seeing) the same thing. Please respond to this post and I'll let you know if I got an email notification. I'll put it on my calendar to check this thread tonight.

Posting to test notifications. I'm still getting them, but I know others aren't.

Hi Steve

I thought you'd stopped posting as you've hardly appeared in recent weeks whereas you were very prolific before!

At any rate, I'm not sure I have much control on this issue. I think Jon will have to address it.

Hi Steve

I thought you'd stopped posting as you've hardly appeared in recent weeks whereas you were very prolific before!

I'm buried in a Web PHP/MySQL project. I'll probably won't be posting much for the next six months.

Anyway it's been about five hours and I haven't received an email concerning this thread so it appears I have the problem too.

If it's relevant, I also use a gmail address for notifications (and am still getting them).

@Vassago
Could you please ask Jon to deal with this - he hasn't responded to the mail I sent over a week ago

Well there are at least 3 of us in this situation:
Steve, myself & one of the moderators (though he hasn't yet responded to this thread)

I'll try a gmail account - I don't have one at the moment
My current email uses @btinternet.com for the server
BUT it worked till 8 May

There is one thing that might have triggered this situation.
Around that date I tried using the setting where you appear to be offline when you're actually logged in.
I abandoned that after a day or so as it seemed pretty pointless

@sneuberg
Good luck with your project
Hope you can still make time for the forum - you were a big help when I joined the site

@ridders

Did they get this fixed for you? I'm still not getting email notifications.

Not yet ....!
Apparently there are quite a few of us in this situation

I tried using the 'Contact Us' link to send an email to the site owner, Jon.
It bounced as the mailbox was full!

Moderators aware & have passed on this info to Jon (over a week ago)
Still nothing!

Thanks for answer and for trying to get this fixed. If you need to follow up on this please mention that my account (sneuberg) needs fixing too. I'd appreciated it.

Odd that it happens to some users and not others. I'd assume the forum software does the same thing for everybody subscribed to the thread. I wonder if AWF has been blacklisted by some email systems?

Could we have the domains on which they are not being received?
Perhaps someone else has an address on that domain. I know I have several, but btinternet is not one of them.

I am using Gmail.com at present.

As I may have said before, mine is btinternet.com

However I also tried my business email hosted by names.co.UK and that also failed to fix the issue

It really doesn't help that the forum email account mailbox is full preventing any contact!

My ISP is Cox.

@ridders What's yours?

Same as my email - BTInternet

I would be VERY surprised if the ISP or email server is relevant as BT is a major provider in the UK. if that was the cause then a huge number of forum users in the UK would be affected

I am experiencing this same issue.

I have NOT got any notifications since 5/7/2017.

I have checked the mail delivery logs and there is nothing getting rejected by the spam filter appliance. It appears they never are reaching my mail server.

I will try an outlook.com email address.
