2 Subreports in Main Report

I have 2 Independent reports that I want to add to a main report. The main report just gives a title and the total number of records. One sub report is a summary of the total number of kids in each grade and gives the perentage of the whole. The other report is a summary of the ethinic backgrounds of the kids in the school.
When I add the subreports I don't see any data. If I run the report separatly they work fine, but added to the main report nothing shows up. I get no errors. But just the title and the total number of students which are part of the main report.
What am I doing wrong?

Don't select a link when you add them. That's your problem. When you add the sub report via the wizard, choose "Let Me Choose" and then don't.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I've tried that. It doesn't make a difference. I tried having a record source for the main report and I tried having no record source for the main report. In both instances I did not create a link. I also tried it with links. Any subreport does not show up when I do the view. Even with just one subreport nothing appears when I press the view button.

Bob,

I created a new main report and added the subreports and it worked. Something must have been wrong with the other main report.
