Hi,
How do I change datasheet view to display first column on the left?
Tried Options > Client settings > Default direction - left-to-right, but datasheet columns order still appears right-to-left.
Thanks for any help

The initial field order will be what you defined on setting up the DS form.

Change the column order to what you want then save. Close & reopen. The column order is retained

Thanks for this Colin.
I don't want to change the column order. I want the the first column to appear on the left, at the moment the table appears justified right.
Thanks

First of all it sounded like the column order was wrong.
Are you now saying the field 'text' is right justified?
Can you give a screenshot and say what you want changed.

Sorry 1st time trying to post screenshot - can I upload from my pc? or how do I give it a url?
The problem is the selector column (used to select, insert, delete, rows) is on the right - I want it on the left and column order reversed.
Thanks

do you have Arabic office?

I have Hebrew language support on Windows 10.
and Office 2016 (English) installed.

Ok here's an attached screenshot of the problem.

Thanks

In the form/table property sheet, change the orientation to left to right.
To make this the default for all new datasheets, do the same under default direction in Access options client settings

Thanks Colin, I was looking under File>Options, silly me!
