Greetings, i'm new, and i don't really know, where this belongs else I would have put this into the right forum.
Heres my problem, i'm creating a database, and right now, I am doing a *Acceptance Letter*, on this letter, there is a combox box that the person creating the new acceptance letter, needs to click and select the program, then below that, the user is to put in the persons first and last name.
Now what i'm trying to say is, i don't know if this should be a form to input information in, or a report, i believe a form.. so, 1) drop down box, select the program.. this program once selected will *Auto populate 3 text boxes with dates available for that program, which in turn will then auto populate 3 more text boxes with the end date of that program. is this a query, and if yes how ? Do i need to half many tables to do this or, how would the relationships work if needed be ? 2) i guess there isn't a 2....But i am having a problem with how to go about making this combo box do this
i'm access self taught, i knew nothing almost 2 months ago and i'm learning by checking things online, youtube, etc but this has got me so stumped I can't get it worked out. Anyone have any ideas please let me know ty.
P.S this is for Access 2007
