Hello, my computer was changed to the highest CPU and with operating system Windows 11. But now I face the problem that my autocomplete in the supplies input form is not working for the description of the items. What I mean is not working is not pop up to autocomplete, but in fact is working to find it, for example we type only 3 characters of the name of the supplies and then we press tab key it will give the correct name of the supplies. But I like it to be like before, when it was in Windows 10 with MS Access 2016, I typed 3 character with will show up the complete name of the supplies.

Is there maybe because there is any setting of the windows not to allow pop up?. Actually the IT people did the migration of the program and data from my old computer, so I don't know what he was doing.

Is this a standard text box? Is there code in your form that provides the autocomplete functionality? Is your directory/folder trusted?

I very much doubt it is anything to do with win11. I get that action on my win11 laptop.

It doesn't matter if you changed to a new CPU or stayed on the old one. What matters is that when you switched to Win 11, the Operating System brought along a new registry file. And, because you probably had to re-install Office (including Access), some of the settings were reset back to factory default settings. Therefore, some of the autocomplete settings might no longer be in effect.

The description of your former behavior sounds like what we call "Find as you type" - if that is for a combo box. You might wish to do a search for that topic. Do you remember implementing that feature in your prior setup?

Yes your are right that was "find as you type" for the combo.
