Solved closing a thread

Where can i find out how to close a thread and incate the it answered my question? Is there a place for housekeeping instructions?

Use the search with “how to close a thread”

Thread Tools, top right of thread. Mark as Solved

Note that the "Solved" option does not appear on top of all threads. For instance, if you opened an "Opinion" thread, you can't solve it. You can only try to lock it.
