Democrats assert that they are the defenders of "democracy". Yet at the approximate 1:30 minute mark, Colbert makes this nonsensical anti-democratic statement. Colbert asserts that majority of the people voting obviously didn't care for democracy since Harris didn't win!
Given that, it would seem that the Democrats may soon abolish the popular vote as the Babylon Bee satirically wrote: Democrats Call For Abolishing Popular Vote. Democrats have already tested out that concept by freezing out Sanders to install H. Clinton and by installing Harris to replace Biden. Based on Colbert's arrogant admonishment; if you don't vote for Democrat, you do not really believe in democracy.
