I have made a calculator (for a factory where I'm doing work experience) in access and it basically works out how long a specific task will take to be completed depending on inital conditions etc.
My query datasheet view basically has the fields:
Task ID; Priority; Duration
With the way that the query is set up, the order that the different tasks are to be completed is the order that they are listed in in the datasheet view of the query.
My question is this:
is there any way to make a nice looking timeline or some sort of Gantt chart out of the information there using reports or more queries? All the tasks start at 0:00 in the morning so it would just be a case of adding on the duration to this start time and making it look pretty with different sized boxes representing how long the task will take.
I have no experience with VBA and very little experience with access so any simple advice about what I'd need to learn and how I would structure things would be great.
