CSV Auto Refresh

Hi all,

I have an external program that I export a csv file. In access there is a link to the csv file to a table & query, so that I get use the data , (like the graph in the sample db). Every day the csv file is created, but access will not update unless I use the Link Manager.

Is there a way to auto-refresh the table when access is loaded ?

This should not be...
if you overwrite the existing CSV file, there is no refresh needed. It is immediate. the old data ceases to exist.
Its the exact filename in the exact folder path?

Now, we are talking a linked table to the csv file, and NOT an internal table that was imported FROM the csv...right?

Uploading just the db without a sample csv isn't helpful.

What do you mean by "Access will not update"? It doesn't re-establish the link or it doesn't refresh the data?

For lack of better nomenclature... the CSV is acting like a back end. Does this problem occur if you exit and restart the front end?
