I have an Access 2000 database with a Customers-Order form scenario identical with the Orders form in Access’s Northwind (NW) Database. Whereas the NW database has about 91 customers that are accessed from the “Bill To:” combo box, I have several thousands of customers. I find it very cumbersome in my database to access all my thousands of customers from a combo box. Does anyone have any clever ideas on how to streamline my Customers look-up to avoid having to scroll through thousands of Customers in a combo box to find the customer I want? Thank-you. Create a popup seach/select screen that will populate once a selection has been made.
I usually use a one or a few text boxes for the search in conjunction with a list box to display the results and allow selection.

Hi FoFa, Yes, I have experience with this technique. I guess I have been looking for the Holy Grail of comboboxology. I have been presented options by better programmers than I whose ideas are also similar to what I have tried in the past. I guess I will have to just stick with what is customary and works. Thanks again for your help. Giaruso
