Hi, im new in this forum i dont know where should i put my question so i decide to do it in the general. if not here sorry.

I have a problem i dont know how to resolve i start using access and i doing a form i have all the tables set but i want to do a display i made a Combo box with some Codes those codes reprensent a Name. what i want to do is: if the person choose one of those codes the name appears of the code chosen

Create the combo box and place it at the HEADER SECTION of your form.

When the wizard appears select the Third option which reads, "Find a record on my form based on the value I selected in my Combo box"

Follow the instructions from there.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

The record will appear on the form in those textboxes.

Did what u told and i didnt got the wizard guy.. im using access 2007

The wizard is a woman :)

1. Did you put it in the Header section?
2. Is your form bound? It will not work if it's not bound. Bound means in the Record Source property there's a query or table selected.
