Filter Listbox

Hi, I have a listbox that is a look up on a table with two fields.
1) ID
2)Status

Is there a way to not filter but disable records in the listbox that have a Status of "Sold" so when a user adds a new record they cannot select any ID that has a "Sold" beside it?

This listbox is used to view records on a continuous form so when a user selects a record that has been sold I still need them to see the ID for that record. Its a dual purpose listbox.

When the user adds a new record they select an available ID from the listbox.

So you don't want to filter? The thread title is misleading. One way would be to test in the before update event of the form:
