Im currently Sitting my A2 ICT exam and im having a bit of trouble setting up a form as part of the exam, incase anyone knows about the exam it is the may 2009 A2 retake Deer Valley.
I hope you will be able to bear with me as i try to explain the question and the problem i have.
Basically the exam is about a train company and i have been asked to set up a database in access to book customers onto the trains.
We have been given two tables to start with and i have split them into four tables, we have been asked to set up two forms, the first form is an introductory form where you choose the date and time you want to travel and if you want to sit facing forwards or backwards and if you would like an aisle or window seat, once you have chosen these option ypou move onto the second form.
This is the form i am struggling with, from the options that you have selected in the first form i need the second form to display only the seats that are availble.
can anyone help me out with this as i have got the next exam session tommorow and dont want to be sitting there for two hours twiddling my thumbs.
I also need the form to set the customer with a customer id consisting of the first four letters of the customers last name and then four numbers.
