Form update and print form problem

Any suggestions on a print button right on the form. I need to be able to make changes to the data that is bound by a form and the users want the print button right on the form. The tables don't get updated since I haven't left the form (closed it yet). Has anyone run into this and found a solution?
I tried opening and closing the form but it gets messy.

Save the record first and then print
DoCmd. Runcommand acCmdSaveRecord
