Four Digit Machine code (Apps Activation)

Hi All,
I want to know that how it can be possible if I give the copy of my demo database for 7 days to someone. After 7 days application will expire and an activation key required for the activation of application. What is the best way to get the unique activation code for the activation of application for each customer? Activation code based on the CPU serial number, Motherboard serial number, Hard disk serial number.
When application installed on the customer’s machine a machine code generate automatically, on the time of purchasing the activation serial number customer must give the four digit machine code to me and I will give the activation code to the customer.
If somebody know the way to do this then please let me know the process in detailed................. or give me a sample if any body perform this before.

I would use the hard disk drive.
loads of examples around in respect of ways to read this, and it's quicker to read than some values.
