fpdtc.dll

I opened up a 2003db on access 2007 and received an error regarding fpdtc.dll. It was easy enough to take care of, but I couldn't find anymore information about it other than handling the error and I'm curious as to what exactly its purpose is. Could anybody enlighten me?

In general terms, Access interacts with many other software programs. Each of these
provides software routines that provide some specific functionality. You must include
these in your References so that Access can find them.

The fpdtc.dll library contains routines for Front Page controls.
