Any thoughts you might have on creating Gantt Charts, and any link to your favorite one would be super appreciated.

Aleksander was due to present to Access Europe in Dec but asked to postpone due to coding issues related to not having access to trusted locations. Hopefully he will present sometime in 2023 once the new VBA Project Signing feature is released

In April we will have Duane Hookom doing a different presentation on Gantt Charts

But much sooner than that, a reminder that we have Karl Donaubauer presenting today's session in 30 minutes (18:00 UK time = UTC)

I've looked at several Excel Gantt charts. Vertex42.com builds the one you can download from Microsoft. It is super simple, too simple actually, but they offer a tutorial to create it all the way to the Pro Version, and a Pro Version download. The Pro Version is only $35. It's pretty advanced.

I'm starting with the simple version and going to use that one so I can use Automation to get the data into it. Some of the functionality of the Pro Version will be accomplished in Access. Isladogs has a video on making linked Excel tables editable. I'm not sure that will work, but that is where I'm going to start.

His presentation on charting using Javascript to Access Europe on Wed 1 Feb will be in English
However, its not about Gantt Charts.

The sessions in April and July will be mainly about Gantt charts
