Ay up.
I'm Mick from Yorkshire in the UK.
I work in manufacturing and I've been using access for years now. I've developed quite a few systems in the past that have worked well, mostly for H&S and QA, (e.g. risk assessments, training records, complaints management) - so hopefully I can help others out a bit.
I'm now onto my most ambitious database yet. A factory scheduler system, that I hope will display the orders on big screen monitors throughout the factory. Should not only get rid of a lot of paper based admin, but should give some great functionality like being able to change priorities, cancel and amend orders live from the planning office rather than having to walk the factory and pull/amend the paper orders manually.
Anyhow, its gonna be a tough un. Already stuck on a multiple DCOUNT , so If you can help, please head on over to the queries section. Cheer all.
