I've been using Lebans RTF2 control in a database I use at work. I am looking to see if there is a commercially developed add in I can use to replace RTF2. There are a variety of reasons; 1) Boss not comfortable with shareware and 2) migrating to 64 bit versions of Access 2013.

What Lebans RTF2 does that I have not been either able to do in Access or find a replacement is this.:banghead: I create tables in Word as well as graphics (from drawing shapes to images) and am able to store them in the database. I use the database to assemble these tables and graphics into reports. I have found the native Access RTF control not capable enough and am not aware of another technique to accomplish this.

I would appreciate any guidance or solutions people may have. If it can be done using Access 2013, great. If I have to buy a 3rd party add in, that fine too.

Thanks again,
Bob

If you can make documents in Access reports, why do you need RTF?

Just to clarify, I create the documents (Tables and Graphics) in Word 2013 and then I store them in Access.

What I am creating are sets of instructions of tasks to do. Some have pictures or graphics with them. Now I might have 200-300 of these instructions in the database. Depending on the task that needs to be done, I select which sets of instructions (maybe 5-10) I need to have done. The Access database grabs the appropriate selected and makes a specific to-do list that needs to be done.

What Lebans RTF2 brings is the ability to display them as professional looking check lists of things to do. It looks more like a custom made word table but is really a combination of several unique steps.

Hope this clarifies things a bit. Thanks for your input,
Bob
