I am a corporate user of Access and would like to get it to help me keep track of environmental conditions in a museum. My professional background is in architecture, with some experience as a beta tester for Microsoft in the 1990s and an early adopter of technology. I have been away from working in Access for a number of years, so I need to catch up on remembering how to get it to do what I want...

My first task is to get an Excel or CVS field from text to date...so I will post that question soon after searching to see if it has been addressed already.

Cheers.

Robert

If you are monitoring temperature and humidity, I would look into a SensorHawk System for the entire museum. Then you can simply monitor the entire area with a network connection to the base unit. It has a web interface.
