Hello everyone!

Today I've decided to join this wonderful world. I've been among you all for a longer time learning and finally I think that I've reached the point that I want to meet fellow enthusiasts. My current project is making the back- and frontend of my company. The idea is to build an environment that can hold all the data for not only the holding and the company, but my foundation.

A little about myself; I've always been a big fan of excel and the hoarding of data. When the datasets started to become too difficult to manage in excel, I dipped my toes into my companies (Red Cross) power apps. Considering the amount of costs that we calculated, it was decided that it isn't the right solution for the problems that we faced and we scaled down from it.

I've build an interest for all of it and considering that I've always had humanitarian business (Ukraine for example) beside my normal work, I've decided to do it in a more professional way and implement some of the ideas that I've pondered about and tweaked for such a long time.

My biggest reason for joining the community is because I get lost at times in the data and the connections made. I've come to the point that me learning the basics on my own was fine but the problems have become too complicated to learn on the fly. I'm hoping to find and to be able to give a little help here so that I can get through this terrible point of being in between and finally being able to put my feet in some humanitarian soils again, instead of struggling behind a computer.

Always feel free to message me or to give a respond here; I'll try my upmost best to get back to you when I'm available.

Hugs from the Netherlands!

Greetings,
Marlon Visser

Hello, Marlon, and welcome to the forums.

When you feel like jumping in, do so. We certainly allow you to post almost anywhere in the forums, though we have a few private areas where posting requires permission and a couple of special areas for moderators and people we honor as "VIPs"

Anyplace else is fair game. Please note that we aren't mind-readers so when asking a question that involves program misbehavior, try to be explicit about the symptoms.
