I got my first MS Access v1.0 free from Egg Head Software in 1998...been hooked ever since.

The lavatory is strictly voluntary here. Sometimes when someone gets out of bounds, we wash our hands of that person, but usually we just stick with a problem and roll up our sleeves.

That's interesting. Access 97 came out in 1997, and Egg head software was still offering Access 1.0 in 1998, albeit giving it away by then.

You are absolutely right, it wasn't 1997...I misremembered...after 78 the the old elevator doesn't go up as high it once did, sorta like a few other things...it was in fact 1990 or earlier. Anyway, thanks for calibration.
