How to add a total field to a chart?

I've created a chart from a query and I'm wondering how to add a total in the chart of all the values represented? The chart is a bar chart, for example, and has 4 bars with the value of 25 each. I'd like to have a text box on the chart that shows the total of the bars added up is 100 in this example.
