Yes. You are reading it right. Digital Rights Management it is. Is there a way? Otherwise how to disable database piracy.

Today is Sunday in the USA which is a day when many of us are doing things with family. Don't get so worked up about slow responses. I was inside in between two outdoor chores when I noted your post.

Now, as to DRM... Access gives you lots of basic tools but it is not well suited for anti-piracy in and of itself. Ever since Access started moving away from .MDB formats, the DRM issue has become mostly self-directed. It will be up to you to program or otherwise arrange for protection of your intellectual property. If you have DATA to protect, you need to have a more robust SQL back-end that can manage rights and privileges. Access abandoned internal object protections over 15 years ago.

Not saying there is NOTHING... but Access is a relatively primitive environment if you are desperate for imposing security. You can search the forum for security topics. Some of the Isladogs posts deal with product protection and similar concepts. An all-Access solution will be limited in capability. Sorry, but that's just how it is with Access.
