That would be ideal isladogs but i wouldn't be capable of writing the VBA to male it happen
Really? That's easy to do and lots of examples online
The idea is to click a dot and make an image of the location appear
That's probably much harder to do unless you can use Google Maps Nearby Places (or the equivalent in Bing/Open Street Maps etc)

HI moke......i'm working with a map which has a series of locations marked on it (using large red dots). The idea is to click a dot and make an image of the location appear
If the map is a static image in an image control, put command buttons over the red dots and set the transparent property to true.

Yes the map will be on a form and transparent command buttons would work well. Thanks moke
