Hello there

My name is Hussain from Saudi Arabia.

I work as a training specialist in a company and I have a passion to automate most of my tasks that’s why I have a good experience working with Microsoft Excel, but Excel is not suitable for working with big data

I think MS Access is the appropriate program with working with big data, actually I’m new with access and trying to build a program that helps me with my tasks

thank you 🙏

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Access certainly handles data differently than Excel and when you need to perform some types of analysis or data organization, it is very fast.

You didn't say whether you were new to databases, though you DID say you were new to Access. I'm going to make a suggestion based on what you told us. Make it a point to read a few articles on "database normalization" because the sooner you learn that, the better off you will be. Excel does a lot of good things but it builds a lot of what we call "flat files."

We have a saying: If all you have is a hammer, everything gets treated like a nail. Well, for this forum, if all you have is Excel,, everything gets treated like a spreadsheet.
