Jpeg Image On Form

Hi,
I need to insert JPEG format photos in the OLE feild of my form, The photo does not show on the form or the report, only the path is shown. However with a .bmp photo the photograph is displayed.
Is there a way to overcome this problem

I have a similar problem.

I'm using a Common Dialog to get the location of a photo, rather than using an OLE in the table.

I have an unbound image control on a form that displays a "preview" of the picture specified in the location in a text box - as selected from the common dialog.

It works fine for .gif, .bmp etc, just not .jpg or .jpeg



Added on Edit:

I had a further search on the forum and found something about having the correct filter installed ( Jpeg Interchange or whatever it was) and that is installed.

What happens is that I get a msg box pop up saying

Microsoft Access doesn't support the format of the file 'filename.jpg', so it can't load the picture.

I have now downloaded the samples that are floating around in similar threads, and I still get the same message box when I try to open a .jpg or .jpeg file.
