Hi, I am using the SendObject function to send an email automatically from a form. However, the email address is generated from a field on the form. The email is always sent but quite often, an illegal operation occurs, showing the following details. Any ideas please?

MSACCESS caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0177:bff7a388.

I had almost the same error, this could be a virus, have you checked your system with Norton? even if there is no virus maybe you should copy a new Kernal32.dll into you windows\system directory.

hope this helps
Mike

Thanks, will try that now.

Hi, I have downloaded a copy of the file but I cannot not replace the existing one with it as it says Windows is using it still? Any ideas?

Yes my friend, you have to copy it manualy
you can't try to do it with windows running.
reboot the PC, hold down F8 select "Command prompt safe mode" I think it's option 5.
then have the file on a floppy disc.
type the following line:
copy a:*.dll c:\windows\system

when prompted to overwrite say yes 'Y'

Hope this help you
Mike

P.S. any problems I should be here from 9am tomorrow morning UK time.
