Limiting number of users to database on server

I have an Access database on a server, and am trying to accomplish something similar to EndersG post "Limiting # of Open Databases", where I want to limit the number of people who can open the database at any one time to a set number. I don't care if they're in a form, report, or the central switchboard, but if they have the application open, I want that instance to count against the total number of places the application can be open. In the last post for EndersG, a poster said he/she had found something in the MSDN Knowledge Base, but I can't find anything on limiting the number of users. If anyone knows where I could find this on the MSDN KB, or has a different solution, I would appreciate the help.

Steve,

These threads will show you to see who is using the
database (reading the .ldb) or whatever. You can run one on
these from a hidden form, and if they exceed your threshold
you can inform them and exit gracefully.
