Solved Lock file errors on FE. Multiple access tasks in task manager.

Hi there, over the last week or so we have an issue with our DB (which is split FE local / BE server in the correct way).
If you open the FE then the first time it opens ok. When you close access the lock file is still there and multiple access tasks are visible in task manager (see image).

I've compacted and repaired FE and BE. I've double checked the BE security/share permissions but they are fine.

The DB weirdly does work if you go into the access app and click on recent files. Whether there is a lock file on desktop or not.

I'm suspecting an access bug but I'm beyond my limited Access knowledge! Appreciate any thoughts you may have, many thanks
