Hi all,

I am searching for the best Antivirus. There are many Antivirus Software’s in market. Here is the list,

Quick Heal (quickheal.com)
Norton (norton.com)
Ragit (ragitav.com)
Net Protector (npav.net)
Kaspersky (kaspersky.com)
McAfee (mcafee.com)
Avira (avira.com)
AVG (avg.com)
AVAST (avast.com)

I am so confused that which software is the best one?

Please share your suggestions!!

I use Microsoft Security Essentials.

Avg is hard to get rid of annoying rubbish.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials as well. And I scan my computer every now and then using Malwarebytes to get rid of malware and spyware if need be. I also use this combination at work and as long as user are taught what they should not click on when on the web, things should run smoothly.

I'm using kaspersky (KIS) for almost 7 years.
No problems ever. You can download a free trial from their website.

I use norton and have never had a problem - it's certainly caught a few things over the years

Hi all

I'm an IT technician and I use various anti-virus products dependant upon the customers needs. For home users I usually suggest MS Security Essentials and for businesses I like to use AVG CloudCare because it allows me to centrally administer their protection. I can also update, scan and restart uses machines with this software, handy when I need to remove a virus or some spyware / malware. CloudCare also has an iPad / iPhone app that allows me to do things when I'm out of my office and have no easy access to a PC.

Norton & Kasper Sky both are great anti-viruses and they does really works great.

I realize this thread is a little older but "best" conjures up a variety of thoughts.

old AMD/XP avg
Dell laptop Vista Home avast
Lenovo z710 8.1 Microsoft Windows Defender

But here is Top 10 for 2014 from PC Mag
