multi value in list box

i need to know how to get the multi value from list box in my form to be used in a query

the list box worked great when it was not multi value

You can't use it directly in a query. Use Pauls code to build the Where string in the listbox afterupdate event- you can then assign string a subform filter or use docmd.execute or use it in the WHERE parameter for docmd.openform or or openreport
