Im currnetly creating a database at work and need some help please. Im a complete novice though. I would like to create a button on my form that will print only the info on that current record. This info needs to be in a different format to the form (Word document/report), if thats possible. I also need to create a button that will save this info in a designated file. Please help me and feel free to mock my stupidity if you can help.

Much appreciation.

Need a little bit more info on what records you wish to save and print.

Post the db if u wish?

first part:
Creat a query of the table your form is based on , at the query design of it, select the fields you would like ur query to include,
"include the Table id" , at the criteria of the id"or any other unique" field type [] or [enter the id] , Run the query , u will type the id and u 'll have only the selected informations,
Create a report based on this query ,
go to ur form and creat a button and assign it to this report. and that's it ,

second part: Try the help on access , type : Linking tables
you ll have the way for doing that .
