Hello MS Access Expert,

I didn't know what section of the forum to post this question, so I decided to post it here.

I have a friend who has a MYSQL database on AWS. I was able to Migrate his MYSQL Database to my local instance of SQL Server using the Migration Assistant for MYSQL successfully.

I now want to re-link the tables directly to MYSQL on AWS. I am able to create the Table Links successfully to AWS but when I open the table Links I receive an ODBC error and no data is received. (Please see the below Screenshots) I am surprised I was able to successfully Migrate the Data from AWS to my local SQL Server but I am having errors accessing the data from MS Access.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

ODBC Drivers Installed.

Thank you CheekyBuddha.

I appreciate your response. It looks like it's probably a driver issue. I'll try the 8.0 version later this afternoon.

Maybe you have Access 32 bit and the ODBC driver is for 64 bit.

I wondered that, but I think it would not show up in the list of drivers when creating a dsn, or cause a more fundamental error at runtime
