New Access user requires help

I have created a database and I am now tying to extract one record at a time.
The record in question will be the last record entered every time. I have created a macro to go to the last record but when I try to extract only this record it fails and I end up with all records in my report.

Can anyone please help?

What do you mean by extract? There are options in the command button wizard to open forms based on the value of the current record. There are also options to print the current record. What specifically do you want to do with that last record?
