Northwind 2.0 fresh template startup errors on Access 365 (3 Viewers)

I just created a new DB with the template. My previous version is 2.3.
Did the ribbon instantiate in the Dev version?

This is what I have on opening.

Has there been any progress/update on getting the custom ribbon to appear for Northwind 2.4 Developer Edition?

I downloaded the file from the link provided by @GPGeorge to the Features Access Templates, as I was previously experiencing the same OneTimeProcessing error this thread originally addressed. That worked like a charm versus opening from the File > Open option within Access.

I now find that I'm also experiencing the missing custom ribbon that has been added to this conversation, so I thought this might be a good place to ask about it.

Any assistance on getting the custom ribbon to display would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's in Microsoft's hands at the moment. But thanks for the reminder. We need to find out how things stand.

In the mean time, I think I can provide a copy of the table that holds the ribbon XML so you can import it as a workaround. If you can import the USysRibbons table from this accdb let me know how it works out, please.

I was able to import the table (I did have to make sure System Objects were displayed), and it took effect after I restarted the database file.
Thanks, @GPGeorge !

Getting the same issues as OP with 2.4 i.e. Compile error for "OneTimeProcessing".
Add Trusted Location didn't solve it.

What version of Access are you running? and what version of NW2, dev or starter?

Try this. It's a bit of a long shot, but a recent comment I saw from someone on a different topic suggests it might help. Change ActiveX Settings and try it again. If it works, please let us know.

I've only got the accdb it created today from MS's NW2 Dev. Do you want that, 13MB?
I need the accdT file from which the accdb is created.

When you install the template, a download file is first placed on your computer.

Look for tf22238896_win32.accdt or perhaps, tf22238896_win64.accdt if you installed it with 64 Bit Access.

Thank you.

Thanks George. I chose NW2 Dev again in a VM running Access 365 and this time it worked fine, so when I get the chance, I'll try to find why there are compile issues in the earlier download. I'm not seeing any *.accdt files to send you, sorry.

The compile problem is no longer happening in the original download, so perhaps the Trusted Location setting took a while even tho' I closed the DB before. Sorry the cause and solution is not 100% clear.

Thanks for the update.

Good luck going forward.
