Can anyone help?, this is driving me nuts

Using Outlook templates, how do I remove old ones from the shortcut list?
(HT LOGO EMAIL 2.htm 011)

I've deleted the file from %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Stationery, but the shortcut remains.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does seem a little difficult. :(
I was thinking right click and Delete, but not that easy. :-)

From https://www.google.com/search?q=rem...E0MTA1ajBqNKgCALACAQ&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

I found https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ook-2013/dd4d5220-56ff-4445-9a0f-16de57892d29

I myself would have no issues editing the registry, but not sure about others.
As well as that link, you actually have to look for each with Modify. :( Not correct now ,see edit.

I chose Papyrus as a test?, but unable to show that, as soon as i try the snip app, that disappears. So be careful.
There does not appear to be any logical order to them. Whilst the 35e is my Papyrus, the one above is not the other test stationery Industrial that I also chose as a test.

HTH

Edit: In fact that key holds all the user added stationery, so deleting that gets rid of all of them, and you will need to re-add the ones you are still using.
Might be wise to export that key first, before deletion. Make sure you are out of Outlook whilst doing this as well.

Edit:Edit: Might be safer to just rename if you have doubts.

If you are hesitant to edit the registry yourself, I have created a reg script that will do it for you. Use at your own risk, though I have tested on my Outlook and it works. :)

Note you will need to change the 16 to whatever 2021 is, as I use 2019.
You will also need to remove the .txt extension, which I had to add to be able to upload the file.

Just put on your computer, double click it and accept teh warning.
I exported the whole key just in case :), but it worked fine.

@Gasman
You are a legend !!

I've wasn't too confident deleting it from the registry, so renamed it (101f035e TEST)
Worked perfectly, thank you.

Take the rest of the day off 😊

Good to know that it worked for you. I also found out 2021 is actually 16 as well, so the delete would work as is.
FWIW always export the key/subkey before any deletion. That way you can just add it again with a double click on the exported reg file, if it does not go as you expect.
