A certain cabdidate keeps taling bout how bad our economy is, that we are becoming a 3rd word state. But here is wthat is really happening with our economy.
GDP is a measure of how strong a contries economy. First a definition of GDP:

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a measure of a country's economic activity that calculates the value of all the goods and services produced within its borders in a given period of time:

The United States has a 26 trillion-dollar GDP. China, which was ssupposed to overtake us is stuck 17 trillion.

California has the 4th largest GDP in the world, bigger than India’s, Britons and Canada's

Texas has a bigger GPD than Russia.

Mississippi, our poorest state, has a larger GDP that the British or the Germans.

Our economy right now is stronger then at any time since WW II, and is the envy of the world.

So, why does Trump keep telling us that we are falling apart, and that only he can fix it? He can't run on things being really good, so he has to create the illusion that things are crappy.

Currently the GDP sits around $27.1 trillion, but the debt sits around $35.77 trillion. That's not a winning combination.

The only modern President that left office with a balanced budget was Bill Clinton. Access, your reply was that of a true Rebublican.

We're on the brink of bankruptcy, not sure what's good about that. The tax and spend folks are hard at it, trying to give our children and children's children an unworkable world to live in - it needs to stop. We need to emphasize PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY over government intervention.
Something all politicans are bad at, but republicans aren't as bad as democrats

A president only signs a bill, he has nothing to do with the budget making.

that's the house of representatives, which was controlled by REPUBLICANS

Neither party is talking about paying off the debt as a national priority. This is a systemic problem, not a partisan one. The biggest problem in the US, the way I see it as a Canadian anyway, is that all your hyper-partisanship is getting in the way of you solving actual problems.

Republicans and Democrats--from the outside anyway--look like a couple of kids in the back seat fighting about trivialities. Meanwhile, no one is driving the car.

If the United States is in decline, it is because you have lost respect for each other, and you would rather see the other side lose, rather than work together for a shared win.

Should Harris win and ask advice of Walz, this would not be good news.

While one can argue, that Harris is not responsible for the current California budget deficit, she is does come from California and she appears to be influenced by that type of egregious spending. As a Democrat, she is all about giving out "free" stuff without identifying how it will be paid for.

How much did Trump add to the national debt? According to Bloomberg Trump's pollicies would and trillions to the nation debt, if elected. I am all for lowering the nation debt, because I used to be a Republican. Trump is not a Republican. He is a only for himself. Not you, not me, not the country.

Here is a list of Presdents and what they added to the debt. Please note the difference between Trump and Biden.

Yes, let's Make America Great Again, and move away from the failed policies of the last four years. I agree.
What part failed? Exactly. Our economy is way better than the rest of the world, employment is up. My stock is making money, and I haven't heard a gun shot since I quit hunting. Please elucidate, and give me facts as to what is broken.
