Outputting report to file

Any help on how to do this would be appreciated, with sample code if poss....

Not exactly certain what your issue is there, but a couple of options occur to me.

When you have run the report in Access, you should have a button on the toolbar called Office Links. This will let you output your report as a Word document or an an Excel spreadsheet.

Or, you have several options under the File menu.

if you want to send a report to a file, simply attach a button to a form, using the wizard then go to report operations and then under the actions select send report to file...self explanitory from then on!
