Query changes form properties

I have a query, which I use to open a form and go to a specific(either new or user specified) record. In my form properties I turned off min/max buttons, and record selectors. If I open the form, those settings are in place. If I run the query, when it opens the form, both the mix/max buttons and record selectors are turned on. Does anyone know what is causing this, and more importantly, how to fix it?

How exactly are you getting the query to open the form?

haha...my bad, that would be a macro.
