Hey there.
I don't know if I'm using the right forum now, bu I have some questions about security in Access 2002 (XP)
I am building a reservations database, and I also want prepare it to track payments in the future, and when there are email or fax reservations, the system has to be able to store creditcard numbers. This isn't that great problem, but I want the numbers to be unreadable to standard users, and only readable for certain users as administrators or full users.
Can I use the security wizard in access, and use some programming code which gives certain permissions per user on a form? Like:
if user = administrator then blabla..
Or is this impossible?
Thanx for any help or tips,
Dennis (Ironis )
