I have a problem here...
My PC Regional date format is MM-DD-YYYY

and i have been exporting an excel in which i need date column (dd-MM-YYYY) to be sorted desc; inspite of every method its showing mm-dd-yyyy and dd-mm-yyyy somwhere, Please help?

Drunkenneo, What are the things you have tried? Format or DateSerial.. They normally come out right..

How are you doing the export? If you are using a query, do NOT format the date. This turns it into a text string. Just export the date field as is. Remember, dates are stored internally as double precision numbers with the integer part being the number of days since Dec 30, 1899. Excel works the same way.
