Dear All, its been a few years since I last wrote a database on Access, but have found some differences.....

This is a really basic question and I think I am missing something.

Have set up the forms etc as usual and have set up a switchboard. But, when you link a form to the switchboard, you can only see a new form whenever you go back into the database. I need to be able to see all the other forms that have already been entered and cannot see howe to do this.

Would be really grateful for any advice.

Thanks

maybe the "objects" are hidden.

Are you using the Switchboard functionality in Access or creating your own?

Hi Just using the function one that is in Access. I used to create a form with buttons on it, but this switchboard option is a new one to me.

I am having difficulty understanding what issue you are having?
An Access switchboard is data driven with just one form? It does not affect any other forms.

There are lots of web pages and videos that describe how to modify your switchboard.

Are you by any chance referring to Navigation forms, not Switchboards?

Are you saying "form" when you mean "record"?

Two possibilities:
Did you set the Data Entry property to Yes?
Are you opening the form in "add" mode?
