So it's been a while since I did this. I have a form in Access 365 with a tab control. On this tab control I plan to put the majority of the needed content.

But I hate the ultra-uber-modern way the Tabs look. They don't look at all like tabs. They are practically indistinguishable from each other, but for the caption. It's awful - just looks like a bunch of Words next to each other with no divider, and no "pressed" look (I know I can change the pressed color, but that's not really enough).

The first picture is how they look now.
The second picture is something I got off Google, a little bit more like I want it to look. Even the way Edge/Chrome tabs look, would be great. Anything more distinct.

Hi. I don't have M365, but here's what a Tab Control I just created using A2016 looks like.

Well, I'm jealous of both looks (especially Pat's), but heretofore unenlightened as to how to achieve it.

Wait maybe it's the colored general border, let me try it

Ok I guess with a combination of general backcolor, border color, and pressed forecolor and forecolor, I got it more distinguished.

I suppose I like the old fashioned tabs. Thanks for weighing in.

Always happy to help.

Merry Christmas. The pies smell wonderful. Almost time to finish making dinner.

Also are you aware that you can change the individual tab widths and height. Also if needed you can use more than one row of tabs.
However, if you want a different colour for each tab (similar to Excel), you need to do so by a bit of fakery.
Merry Xmas to all.
