One could say that this article is a virtual Potemkin village, as it is highly deceiving. On the surface, a child free life sounds enticing. Kids are expensive and we live in a consumer society where self-gratification is a high priority (“My main motive not to have kids was that I loved my life the way it was.”). We also live in a world that is overpopulated and people are concerned about the effects of man on the environment (global warming as one aspect). PS: This cover story is actually 11 years old now which points to the need to do some fact checking . Having It All Without Having Children. Furthermore, the author, Lauren Sandler, is an "unknown" in the sense of whether or not she is a propagandist for radical left wing ideology.
What makes this article deceiving is that the radical left has been pushing "replacement theory", the rejection of the nuclear family, the repudiation of Christian/Jewish cultural values, and the elimination of the suburban lifestyle, for decades. As one aspect of this radical agenda the Biden/Harris administration has opened the US border for an illegal immigrant invasion. Regretfully, based on what the radical left has been pushing, this article would be just the type propaganda that Goebbels would generate to get people to believe in a Potemkin village. Below are a couple of "X" (twitter) responses recognizing that this article apparently has a (radical left) hidden agenda.
