transferring data from access to excel

I need to be able to make a module that can paste the results from my query (qryNumbOfGroups in Trending.mdb) to an excel spreadsheet (FunctsAndIssues.xls). or would this be easier to make a macro in excel that gets the data from access. I just don't even know where to start with this.
